Desjardins Odyssey World Elite Mastercard vs Desjardins Odyssey Visa Infinite Privilege

Two cards, one Standard Score rubric. The Desjardins Odyssey Visa Infinite Privilege scores higher overall at 6.2/10 — but the right pick depends on which components match your spending.

The verdict

Situational

The bottom and top of the Odyssey ladder, up to three times apart on fee. The $130 World Elite Mastercard's 8 lounge passes and $5,000,000 medical ceiling already cover most flyers; the $295-395 Visa Infinite Privilege raises the lounge allotment to 12 passes, adds 24-hour concierge and automatic room upgrades, and pushes dining/entertainment earn to a flat 4%. Members whose income qualifies and who spend heavily on dining and travel get real value from the Privilege tier; everyone else captures most of the Odyssey program on the World Elite Mastercard for a fraction of the fee.
